A show line up will be emailed out and posted at the studio May 14th. A year of FREE tuition (value of $1665.00) will be drawn at the beginning of the show. All DanZQuest students will be eligible for this. The student who wins will be able to take unlimited dance lessons for a year for FREE! This will be for September 2018 to June 2019. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN! Trophies will be handed out at the end of the show. DVDS order forms will be available at the desk 2 weeks prior to our recital. Ben Fancy will be videoing for recital.
Dancers should be dressed and ready for their first dance. Dancers may watch the show until three numbers before they perform. When it is time for them to perform they must walk around to the backside of Kenan Auditorium and enter from the back entrance. Dancers need to be dropped off with a staff member or a volunteer. Please DO NOT leave any dancer unattended!!!! Parents may NOT wait on the side of the stage or behind the curtain (unless you are the helper mom for the class). If you plan on waiting for your child, then you must stay in one of the dressing areas. It is TOO busy back stage and most importantly, we CANNOT block the FIRE EXIT! There will be dressing areas to use behind the stage so please feel free to leave your dancers items in the dressing area but make sure all items are labeled. Boys’ dressing room will be located upstairs backstage. All company members will have a labeled dressing area for quick changes. When your child has danced, make sure you come back to get them unless your child’s teacher has told you something different.
Volunteers are needed at the recital. Please email me if you are interested! Volunteers will help change costumes/shoes/hair/working the back door and helping line students up to perform.
